Hamish Robinson
Hamish has fifteen years of experience in underwriting, broking and senior client management which has given him a thorough understanding of the opportunities available in the insurance market and how to structure solutions to suit the needs of different businesses.
As an international broker with Willis Corroon in the Lloyds market, he was responsible for structuring and placing complex international property programs.
Upon returning to Australia, he became an underwriter with Chubb Insurance, where he specialised in underwriting professional and financial risks. He was then approached by Swiss Re where he became a senior client manager in the treaty division. This role required Hamish to develop complex financial solutions for a range of financial services companies. He worked across all insurance product lines and was the D&O specialist for Australasia.
Most recently he established a highly successful client management program for Freehills, one of the largest law firms in Australia. This program has become one of the key strategic initiatives at Freehills and is recognised in the legal market as innovative and market-leading.
